At the HR Leadership & Management Awards 2026, we’re finalists for Excellence in Talent Acquisition and Recruitment, with Jennifer Kirwan also shortlisted for HR Rising Star of the Year. We’ve also been shortlisted for CX Impact in Financial Services at The Irish CX Impact Awards 2026.
There’s a particular satisfaction in seeing our people and customer experience recognised together. At MiFinity, we believe great customer experiences start with great people. These shortlistings give us a welcome opportunity to celebrate the colleagues putting that belief into practice.
A Better Experience from the First Conversation
How someone experiences MiFinity begins long before their first day.
Our recruitment team has worked to make that experience clearer and more consistent, introducing common interview standards, strengthening how we communicate who we are as an employer and filling more roles in-house. Alongside shorter recruitment cycles, this work has delivered more than €200,000 in recruitment cost savings.
For a growing payments business, being able to find and recruit the right people matters. So does how we go about it. Candidates are making an important decision about their future, and we want the recruitment process to give them a clear understanding of the company they could be joining.
Jennifer Kirwan has played a significant part in that work. With only two years of HR experience, she has helped deliver those savings, developed MiFinity’s employer brand and introduced engagement and development activities across the company. Her work has made a tangible difference across MiFinity, with colleagues and senior leaders alike seeing the impact first-hand.
So we’re especially pleased to see her shortlisted for HR Rising Star of the Year. It’s a well-deserved moment for someone who has already made a substantial contribution early in her HR career.
Room to Contribute, and Room to Grow
Across Malta, Dublin and Belfast, our team brings together more than 100 colleagues from over 25 nationalities. Different perspectives are part of everyday life at MiFinity, and we encourage people to share their ideas and learn from one another.
